ABOUT THE ARTIST
An international award winning Artist in both soft pastels and acrylics, Carole’s main love is painting water and ocean life, especially sea turtles. She has had previous articles published in the Artists Palette magazine with a painting featured on the front cover, as well as articles in the Australian Artist magazine.
Carole is a member of the following Art Societies:
- International Ocean Artists Society in California, with one of her paintings being held in its permanent collection for future exhibitions
- Pastel Society of Australia - Accomplished Pastelist
- Pastel Society of America - Juried Associate Member
- Australian Society of Marine Artists - Exhibiting Member
- International Guild of Realism - Juried Member
Carole’s pastels have won awards and been included in the finals of international juried exhibitions and she has had paintings included in the International Association of Pastel Societies’ (IAPS) Annual Exhibitions held in Chicago and Albuquerque. Carole is also an award winning artist with the Pastel Society of Australia and Pastel Society of America.
A recent resident of Yeppoon, Qld, Carole has previously been involved in group and solo exhibitions in NSW galleries for over 25 years. Her work can currently be viewed by appointment at her home studio/gallery in Yeppoon.
