ABOUT THE ARTIST
An international award winning Artist in both soft pastels and acrylics, Carole’s main love is painting water and ocean life, especially sea turtles.
Carole is a member of the International Ocean Artists Society in California, one of her paintings being held in its permanent collection for future exhibitions. She is also a juried exhibiting member of the Qld Wildlife Artists Society, holds Accomplished Pastellist status with the Pastel Society of Australia and is a Juried Associate Member of the Pastel Society of America. She has had previous articles published in the Artists Palette magazine with a painting featured on the front cover, as well as articles in the Australian Artist magazine in January and February 2020.
During 2020/2021, Carole’s pastels have won awards and been included in the finals of international juried exhibitions with one of her turtle paintings included in the International Association of Pastel Societies’ (IAPS) Annual Exhibition held in Chicago. Carole is also an award winning artist with the Pastel Society of Australia.
A recent resident of Yeppoon Qld, Carole has previously been involved in group and solo exhibitions in NSW galleries for over 25 years. Her work can currently be viewed by appointment at her home studio/gallery in Yeppoon as well as PnE Art & Framing in Rockhampton.
